Poster presentation “Developing a Globally-Relevant Family Support Programme for Young Autistic Children” covered stakeholder perspectives from two clinical sites. The project team received positive feedback on the programme’s relevance for both the professional community and families.

The Bloom programme is grounded in a participatory approach and ongoing engagement with local autism communities. Stakeholder workshops at primary research sites revealed a strong need for multilevel post-diagnosis support for families. There is high demand for culturally adaptable, evidence-based programmes for families of young autistic children. The study's impact goes beyond Bloom's development by providing a detailed account of stakeholder engagement methods, which can inform future participatory research in similar contexts.
